General Update

My parishioner died Saturday morning around 1 a.m.

My his soul, and the souls of all the departed, rest in peace.

We've had much cooler temperatures recently, and a downpour of flash flood proportions (I think) came through yesterday.

Today it is currently overcast, 58 degrees and a chance of showers.  That's nice for the fire crews; not so nice for those of us who have scheduled parish picnics.

Oh well . . .

After the picnic, The Kid and I head north to pay a visit to grandparents before she goes back to school for the  year.

And now I need to get to work.
