Generally speaking, I'm not a big fan of shopping. Mrs. Ref learned a long time ago (when dealing with me) that there's a difference between, "I want to go look for new shoes," and, "I want to go shopping." If you tell me you're going to look for new shoes, don't drag me to every store in the mall. If you want to drag me to every store in the mall, tell me you want to go "shopping."
So I'm not generally a big fan of shopping. I am even less of a fan of online shopping. In fact, I generally despise online shopping for anything other than books. If it's something I have to wear or use on a regular basis, I want it to fit and function correctly from the moment of purchase. Online shopping doesn't afford me the opportunity to check out the product and I have to rely on pictures and/or customer reviews.
Remember that Christmas gift to me . . . the new football bag with wheels and 15 pockets?
Yeah . . . Not so much. Dammit.
So now I have to contact the company today to arrange for a return and refund and renew my search for a replacement bag.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

I'm sorry. Must get it from me.
I feel your pain! Schlepping from store to store - and mall to mall - is frustrating, and buying on-line is risky. I've returned plenty of things, mostly because the manufacturers and I have different ideas about what size I wear.
However, in your case, maybe a quick jaunt through Consumer's Reports might be in order? I know that the items sold in outlet malls are NOT the same as the things offered in stores, and it's quite possible this is what's happened to you.
Good luck!
Actually, Lady Anne, the manufacturer's idea of "functional pockets" was not my idea of functional pockets -- designated shoe pockets that are too small for actual shoes, poorly located pockets, and "pockets" utilizing that mesh/netting material which does nothing but allow things to fall through.
The other thing about ordering online is that, most of the time, you are responsible for shipping charges back. So if it ain't right, you're going to pay for it.
I spent ALL day today online looking for another bag. I think I found one -- at least the pictures seem promising. It should be here on Epiphany, so we'll see.
