First Night

Today was the first Tuesday night service up in VC. Attendence was considerably less than Opening Day. Statistically, it was probably more on par with a Kansas City Royals day game.

Numerically, it was me.

So I did Evening Prayer and prayed for patience. Prayed for strength not to quit. Prayed for a harder head that won't hurt when I continually run it into a brick wall. Prayed that it's not me who oversees the closure of two congregations. Prayed that I don't get fired for incompetence.

Yeah ... I sometimes overreact.

Next week will be better.

Really.

Honest.

I hope.
