SHORT WEEK

Lots to do and little time to do it.

I've got a prayer vigil/healing service for one of my parishioners tonight who goes in for colon cancer surgery tomorrow morning. So I got the ordos all figured out, printed and copied for that. That service starts here in ... oh ... just about an hour.

We leave to visit our good friends over in Laurel on Thursday.

That means only one day of office time for sermon prep. Ish.

Monday was spent picking out hymns for Sunday and Thursday (we do a Thanksgiving day service), as well as printing out the ordos, and finding and printing the readings for tonight.

Today I did some sermon work as well as general office stuff up in VC, and then came home early to get ready for tonight's service.

And now I need to go find some food so my tummy doesn't rumble as I'm laying hands on people.

Lots to do and not much time . . . . I feel like the rabbit in Allice in Wonderland.
