We traveled home from Bruce and Jane's today.
The girls went shopping early yesterday, but not like "park in front of the store at 3:15 and wait for the 4 a.m. opening" early .... more like, "let's get up at 6:30 and leave by 7:30" early. So they did that while Bruce ran errands for his business, did a little shopping for his Kid, and then picked our two Kids up from the mall because they were all shopped out. And Jane and I stayed at the house and bounced sermon ideas and thoughts off of each other pretty much to no avail. Let's just say that we each have a general idea and hope that preaches.
Then we all met up at the movie theater to see Enchanted. The Boy was less-than-enthused about going to see a "girlie" film, but the rest of us thought it was cute. They did a good job tying in most of the Walt Disney "princess" movies.
Today we just hung out. Jane & I worked on breakfast for the families (French toast, sausage, bacon & juice). Then we got packed up and got ready to leave. Departed about 12:15, right after lunch. Stopped in Bozeman to buy a new light for the front of the church. Mrs. Ref strongly suggested that someone else install it. This is a "similar but not quite exactly the one" image of what we picked up. I think it'll look good with the new paint job.
Got home, unpacked, did two loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher, and watched MIB & MIB II.
Thanksgiving with the Ref's was good; I hope yours was as well.
It was a good Thanksgiving weekend.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.
