Give a man a fish . . .

We've all heard various forms of that expression.

A couple of my parishioners went to Mexico for a vacation recently. They came back with a t-shirt for me:

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink Beer all day.
Fish 24:7

Mrs. Ref asked if I wore it to the bar tonight (being bar night and all). "No, I wear my clericals."

"Oh .... too bad."

You CAN wear t-shirts over clericals. That one would be an ideal case.
