Happy

Phase Two in the Big Refurbishing Project has been completed.

The floors are finally finished! This is very good news. And, in the immortal words of Billy Crystal, they "look mahvelous ..."

They are now drying out and the guy said that we could walk on them by Friday.

This is good since we need to put pews back in place on Saturday.

As well as clean.

The dust he kicked up . . . I know he did his best to contain it, and I'm glad he did; but we certainly have our work cut out for us this weekend. Because Sunday is our annual 1864 Service, and we'll hopefully have plenty of visitors.

And, like someone at the vestry meeting said tonight, maybe it's a good thing that the carpet isn't installed yet -- we might get more donations.

But right now . . . the floors are finished and I am a happy vicar.

Yes . . . I forgot the camera yesterday, but will have it Thursday and will take a few "finished product" pics then.

Then those, along with the "work in progress" photos will go up.
