Travels

We got out of town about 5:30 last night, grabbed dinner on the way, and ended up at our destination right around 11 p.m. local time (midnight body time).  Then it was up early to get people rolling since Mrs. Ref has a doctor's appointment today.  After that we'll hang out in Beloved Home Town and meet up with my sister.  She's in town on business, so we'll have lunch together, and then it will be on to Mrs. Ref's home town to meet up with her parents, my parents and her grandparents.

And we start the trip home on Sunday.

The drive over was uneventful, which was a good thing since we were driving west in the evening (I hate that) and in the rain (possibly ugly), but the sun was hidden by the clouds all trip and we didn't have to contend with glare off the road.  The only issue (and this is an issue EVERY time we head back west) and that is that IDOT (Idaho Dept. of Transportation) apparently doesn't have enough money to PAINT LINES ON THE ROAD.  You just sort of have to know that there are two lanes and a shoulder somewhere.

However, I will say here that once we got just outside of Cd'A, they were doing lots of road work, including painting lines.  I was a happy driver.

Have a good weekend.
