Decisions have been made. Some things have become more important than others.
And everything has a consequence.
The biggest consequence for me is that I have now updated my CDO Profile (that would be the Episcopal Church version of the e-Harmony matching system) to the following status: "Open to consider new position."

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

Pot... kettle...
Welcome to it, bro.
so sorry I got the wrong blog...but recognizing you as a minister, too, I suspect you to be a man of greatness also. Best to you - Becky

Noted your post via Madpriest. Here is a little help on the CDO and other parts of the process. http://www.mecaclergy.org/newsletter.html. Check out the July August 2008 issue and related CDO spreadsheet. You can also join a free Clergy Career Development tele-seminar on May 13 offered by the Clergy Leadership Institute. http://www.clergyleadership.com/teleseminars/tele-seminars.html BTW the CDO is undergoing a major overhaul.
agartha: No problem; it happens. I hope things go well at your own parish.
Steve: Thank you so much for the links. I'm looking forward to exploring them. Unfortunately, I will be at our clergy conference on May 13 and won't be able to access that one. Maybe it will be recorded for later viewing.
