Tears

Yesterday was the first service after the official announcement that, due to certain decisions, it was no longer feasible for me to remain here.

It was not a happy service, but not depressing. It was certainly sad, and there were plenty of tears throughout. People are sad and angry, and that's to be understood.

What I found interesting, though, is that those tears and expressions of sadness (or not, as the case may be) fell strictly along congregational lines.

And now each group moves forward in the best way they see fit.
