Happy New Year

Happy New Year everybody.

It's just past 10:30 here on the west coast, which means that it's half-past New Year's in a town I used to live in, which means it's 30 minutes past my bedtime.

So, I'm going to have a glass of sparkling cider with the family and go to bed safe in the knowledge that 2011 will come whether or not I'm up to greet it.
