The Big City

I'm heading north to the Big City for the diocesan convention this weekend.  It technically starts tonight with a bunch of hospitality and socializing events that, oh darn, I'm just not going to get there in time to partake.  Shucks.

And then the main event tomorrow with business meetings, keynote speaker and whatnot.

I remember reading somewhere that clergy were not required to vest unless given a specific role in a service.  I hope that's right, because I'm leaving everything at home.

So my three delegates and I will be making the long trek to Portland shortly, dealing with a bunch of people, and then heading home asap.
