Annual Meeting

We had our annual meeting today.  I preached a decent sermon (it'll be up tomorrow for those who follow that kind of thing), and we moved into the parish hall after service for the meeting.

We started at 10:22, seven minutes later than last year, and I believe we were done at 11:30.  It was everything you'd expect an annual meeting to be and I apparently have a flair for running those kinds of things smoothly.

After the meeting, we had our potluck luncheon, and then we all pitched in and cleaned up.

I left the office a little early with only a slightly sore back and a good feeling about it all.  Came home, looked for a football game (none to be found -- this is the second saddest day of the year), found some golf instead, and promptly took a nap.

Not a bad day all in all.
