College Road Trip Post #2

We made our way from Rapid City, SD to Omaha, NE today.  Another long day on the road, but we had some bits of humor and rest.

We stopped at Wall Drug (doesn't everybody) and wandered around for a little bit.  We didn't buy anything but drinks, although I'm sure you could spend a bunch of money on souvenirs if you so desired.

Making our way across SD, I saw something I've never seen before:  The woman on the back of a motorcycle was reading a book.  I suppose if you're riding along and there's not much to look at except the miles and miles of miles and miles that is South Dakota, reading a book is a good option.

And yesterday, before heading to bed, I managed to complete the football rules test.  It's all done online, so I was able to take it while at the hotel.  I only scored 93 percent this year, but since I'm on the road, I'm not going to make the effort to go back and try to improve that.

The other issue is that, with it being online, I never know which questions I miss.  Which is slightly annoying, because I have no way of studying up on those questions.

So, here we are, in Omaha, recovering from hours in the car, and looking forward to one more average-length trip tomorrow before we can spend a few days in College Town.

Woo hoo.
