Bishop's Secretary

I just got off the phone with the Bishop's secretary.

She wanted to know if the Southern Convocation (that would be "Deanery" to most of the rest of TEC) had elected representatives to Council at our last meeting and who they were.

I said, that yes, we had, and they were Robert and Susan.

Then we got to talking about canons and the murkiness of such, when she pointed out that there were some canons of the diocese that nobody really knew we had, but that we were supposed to be following, but since nobody knew about them we really weren't following them at all.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who says, "Oh . . . I was supposed to be doing that?  Who knew?"
